Another quick update from our on-going projects in Bangladesh. We have many campaigns currently being implemented in Bangladesh and here are just a few examples below
Cash Distribution
Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in the world so trying to provide for everyone, everywhere can be a monumental task. Often some of the poorest and isolated villages are harder to assist due to the remoteness and lack of awareness of their struggles. A lot of these people do rely on assistance from others and often they fall into the Zakat applicable category further indicating the lack of wealth they have
Peoples Foundation aims to provide these people with some assistance in the form of Cash Distribution from Zakat donations. We strictly use Zakat donations for Zakat applicable causes such as this and pray that our contributions can help sustain and steady them for the future
You can help either through our Cash Distributions appeals in Bangladesh or by paying your Zakat through us and we will distribute this to the most needed
Feeding Madrasah Students
A great form of Sadaqah Jariyah. Children in education, especially those in Islamic teachings, need our help and support to provide them with a good platform to build upon and hopefully go on to help others through their own teachings. Just a small act of kindness such as delivering them with a full meal can provide you with many rewards as the children will pray and thank you for the meal provided
Food Distribution
There are many of those, especially women, orphans and the sick, that cannot always provide for themselves and require some extra assistance. They may have no means of income and no way of providing food for themselves and their families
Through our Food Distribution campaigns we hope to provide food packs to the most needy which can sustain whole families for up to 1 month and give them a bit of relief in their fight against food poverty
